Note From Orchid

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, with training and experience in Emotionally Focused Couples and

Systemic family therapies. My interest and expertise are in supporting families, couples, and individuals with the adjustments required to relieve emotional strain that presents as anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, grief, and marital dissatisfaction. My special interests are working with women over 50 and people from the Caribbean. 

I provide therapeutic space as an opportunity for you to tell your life stories and explore the meaning they carry in the safety of a non-judgmental environment. My approach to therapy is client-centered. I believe that the best teacher is experience, and that the expert of your life is you.
